An N.W.T. resident who’s lived in the territory all her life says she has to leave to avoid being homeless. The couple was served with an eviction notice late last year for their unit at Franklin House apartments. The building suffered a fire months before and is now set for renovations. That could take months to complete, according to Range Lake Developments, the landlord — and tenants can’t stay while the work is happening.
